He has co-produced songs with other producers such as Tshego, Nasty C, Tweezy and K.O. Malia was born to a mother who's Malawian and her father is from the United Kingdom. She grew up at a time that almost the same as apartheid in Malawi and because her mother was black and her white, she did not have the glamorous upbringing any child would wish they had.
"I remember once in Malawi when we were in the car, my mum was in the front, my father in the front, he is white, she is black, there is a lot us mixed race children in the back. And people just started to throw things at her and calling her a monkey."
Malia moved to the United Kingdom at the age of 14, sadly, her father died in 1989 when she finished high school, Malia always knew that she wanted to be a singer and that is the career she pursued.

Malawi’s United Kingdom-based rapper Lavida Loca continues to make inroads in her music career as she was recently listed among 21 female rappers taking over hip hop in 2020. Her real name, Vera Faith Chirwa, was placed on number six by Capital Xtra for taking over hip hop 2020.
